Comments :    After a very frustrating round of taking my dog to two other vets and finding his broken foot diagnosis was entirely missed the first time and not properly managed the second time, I took my dog here on short notice for a third opinion. The care was outstanding and I very much appreciate veterinarians who are extremely competent and caring in their field and who are willing to consult each other on difficult cases where one may have more experience than another. The front end staff are also incredibly sweet and helpful, thank you ladies! Thank you Dr. Melissa and Whitefish animal hospital for doing all the right things! My pets will continue on as your patients!

Comments :    We recently brought our pug, Duke, to the Whitefish Animal Hospital for an exam for a back injury. He was not a patient there, but we were not pleased with the vet he was seeing. They took him in immediately and gave him all of there attention. What we didn't realize was that he also had a brain injury. (By the way, the nearest MRI for an animal is 6 hours away!) It was too late for our little guy. We lost him 2 weeks after the initial fall. Dr. Jim and his staff were so loving and comforting. Even though they had just met us. I will always be grateful for being there for us and our little Duke.

They are an amazing group of compassionate and incredibly skilled people that I am fortunate to have in my corner. I am so grateful for all of the services they provide- from excellent veterinary care to emotional support from all members of the team. A special thank you to Dr. Jim Thompson for his genuine care, concern, and generosity. I have and will continue to refer everyone to Whitefish Animal Hospital. With so much gratitude!

Comments :    It was a heartbreaking decision to be made suddenly, and Dr. Jim and staff were so very gentle and understand with both me and my Vizsla. Great dignity in his passing, and compassion for me at losing him.

Comments :    Dr. Jim is the best vet ever. Listens to my wishes for my dog, gives the best care, would recommend him (and the other staff) to anyone, and I do, when asked.

Comments :    My 3 year old lab had a sudden allergic reaction causing his right eye to swell up like a balloon! We could not figure out how or why I wanted to cry not knowing what to do, and at the time not having any extra cash due to unforeseen circumstances. They were helpful referring me to the Animal Shelter who carry "coupons" for lack of a better term, that allow your pet to be seen free of charge to you. We brought him in the staff were kind and the doc was very informative on how and when it might clear up. I was very satisfied with the care my dog received here and I would recommend this hospital to anyone with a pet, be it for a yearly exam, or an emergency. I plan to return for any and all care for my pup. Thanks WFAH We're so grateful for all your help.

Comments :    February '08 It was a fun surprise to walk into the waiting room and find that Cinnamon and Vanilla were "Dogs of the Day." They even got their picture taken and were in the frame before we left. All of you come up with ways to make the owners feel good and welcomed, and the dogs tenderly cared for. Jim and I would like for you to know that your efforts are appreciated and your creativity enjoyed to the max. The "Dog of the Day" treat bags were an additional surprise. The treats were gone before we left the parking area. We are using the pens daily. The shampoo will be used with gratfulness this spring and summer. The "pet-inside" window tag to inform firefighters of pets inside is a wonderful idea! We filled them out immediately and have them displayed on both sides of the house. Upon our arrival home after the holidays, we had another pleasure--the Christmas card and brownies. Three of the brownies never made it out of the room we were in! Jim had two! The rest didn't last much longer. What a happy surprise! Thank you so much. Your constant kindness to ALL of your pet clients and their owners is appreciated beyond what you might realize. Every one of you are cheerful, encouraging, kind, fun, personable, caring, helpful, understanding and professional. We have owned dogs for 40 years, in 11 states, and there has never been an animal hospital and staff that can match your quality of care and high-class staff. You are the BEST! Again, we both thank you with sincerity and gratefulness.
