My husband and I moved to Whitefish in 1998 and feel blessed to live in such a beautiful and friendly place. I grew up in the Seattle area after spending the first few years of my life in San Francisco. I studied graphic design at Western Washington University and received my undergraduate degree in 1985. My husband's work took us to the Dallas area in 1987, where we lived until coming to Montana. I worked in advertising for many years but finally realized my true "calling" was cooking. I eventually became the sous chef and saucier for a Dallas-area country club after graduating from a chef school. I've been working at WAH since late 2007. When I am not taking appointments and answering the calls of our clients, you can find me on the golf course- striving for the perfect game!

I joined Whitefish Animal Hospital in June of 2009. After spending the last 8 years traveling as event coordinators, my husband Paul and I decided to settle down and have a family. A year or so after the birth of our daughter Eleanor I knew it was time to go back to work. I was fortunate to be able to join a great team at the Whitefish Animal Hospital and indulge my lifelong love for and curiosity about animals. I am a Canadian who has spent half my life learning and growing here in Whitefish. I love to play in the outdoors, play music and spend quality time with my friends and family.
Brooke KlemmVeterinary Technician & ReceptionistI am a 3rd generation Montanan, born and raised in Kalispell. After a 3 1/2 year stint in North Dakota, my husband and I moved back home to pursue more fulfilling careers. I started working for Whitefish Animal Hospital in June 2015, followed by the ground floor opportunity to be involved in the 2018 evolution of Bigfork Animal Hospital! I have a son who was born in January 2018 who is already infatuated with our 3 cats (Naerys, Franz, and Lizzie) and Blue Heeler named Rue. I try to spend as much of my spare time practicing aerial arts at Levitation Nation, hiking, and kayaking.

I met my husband in Alaska back in 1999. We moved to Whitefish in 2012 after living for 8 years in New Orleans, LA. While enjoying all that is offered by Montana we couldn’t help but answer the call to go back to the city… and moved to Seattle for a year. One year was all it took to realize that we belong in the Flathead Valley. We couldn’t imagine raising our son who was born April of 2015 anywhere else but here! We share our home with our 3 cats and our tripod dog. I enjoy photography, horse back riding, hiking and traveling. Someday I will have 52 cats and an orangutan sanctuary.

I graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 1998 and passed the the Veterinary Technician National Exam. The following 5 years I spent working in a fast paced emergency hospital in Denver. Being passionate for wildlife I moved back to Montana and took a job as Biological Technician working with Bull trout. I then met my French husband and I was whisked away to France where I spent the next 12 years. While living there we had three boys Kilian, Gabriel and Aymeric. We recently moved back to Montana and I'm thrilled to have joined the team at Whitefish Animal Hospital.

I am happy to call the Flathead Valley my home after moving here from Costa Rica in 2000. I received my BA in Spanish Literature from the University of Montana and found the love of my life, Caleb, during my schooling in Missoula. We moved back to the Flathead in 2014 and are beyond thrilled to be here. I'm so excited to have joined the team at Whitefish Animal Hospital in December 2015 and to have the opportunity to pursue such meaningful and wonderful work with animals each day. In my free time, I do a lot of running and hiking with my husband and our bouncy dog, Jobie, as well as riding my sassy horse, Monterrey.

I have an English mastiff named Beau who is my bestest friend. I enjoy the summers in MT and dislike the cold winters. I like anything outside, I am super involved in the Crossfit Community here and do many competitions throughout the year. I have been working at WAH since January 2017; I love hanging out with animals all day and I am excited to grow and continue learning more.

I was born in Japan and moved to the Seattle area with my family when I was 4 years old. I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Shortly after I pursued my lifelong interest in working with animals and got a job at Green Lake Animal Hospital in north Seattle, where I gained my skills and knowledge over 8 years. I was finally ready to leave the big city life and decided to follow my dream of living in Montana. I started at WAH in 2008, moved back to Seattle in 2015, but less than 2 years later I came back to a place that's better fitting for my lifestyle. I have one calico kitty named Mimosa and I enjoy healthy cooking, yoga, hiking, riding horses, skiing, and visiting my family in Seattle. I would love to pursue my interest in integrative and holistic veterinary medicine for my next chapter of my career

Growing up, I moved around a lot; living in 7 different states before finishing high school in Oklahoma. The gypsy life suited me and I ended up in Colorado, where I met my husband, Taylor, in his home town of Durango. Looking for a new adventure soon after our wedding, we decided to try Whitefish, and fell in love with our new forever home.
I have had a deep appreciation for animals my entire life. Whitefish Animal Hospital took me in after our sickly puppy “Pondo” made us permanent fixtures in the hospital. Although I “fell” into my position here, this has become my passion and I am so happy to be part of such a experienced and caring crew.

I was born and raised in South Louisiana. I was awarded an internship in the summer of 2017 and decided to move here. I have always loved animals and dreamed of working with them. I went to grooming school in 2013 and have been grooming dogs since. I have a toy poodle- Buttercup, and a standard poodle- Meekah. I also have a quarter horse named Doc. In my free time you can find me doing western photography or working on my horsemanship. I love Montana and plan to be here for a long time.
